The Bakun 275kV Substation Extension and Murum Junction 275kV Substation Extension Project involves the complete engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, mechanical completion, testing, and commissioning of electrical and civil works for the Bakun 275kV Substation Extension and Murum Junction 275kV Substation Extension. This includes retrofitting two 275kV Spare Bays with protection and control relay compatible with IEC61850, testing and replacing faulty equipment, and converting existing bays for the Bakun - Murum Junction 275kV Transmission Line connection.
